Tobi Kosanke, Ph.D., is President of Crazy K Farm Pet and Poultry Products, LLC, manufacturer of quality pet products including the patents-pending Hen Saver® hen apron, Avian Haven® hut for parrots and other caged birds and Kitty Holster® cat harness.
Off-the-job safety is Dr. Kosanke's passion: she was a Motorcycle Safety Instructor for 15 years; served as a Division Safety Representative at ExxonMobil, where she created the "Off-the-Job Safety" portion of the Safety Leadership Course for Managers; has been a professional rider of motorcycles for magazines and print advertisements; has taken part in aircraft pilot safety programs; and rock climbs in the safest manner possible. She is an expert at identifying and managing risk.
Dr. Kosanke's recognition of the importance of a safety program in her own company combined with a personal passion for off-the-job safety have motivated her to carve time out of her busy work schedule to offer lectures and courses on the subject to other businesses.
