Dr. Kosanke offers lively presentations on off-the-job safety that will engage your employees and facilitate their acceptance of the extention of your company's on-the-job safety program to their lives at home and within their communities. She offers lectures tailored specifically to either managers, non-managerial staff, or both. The length and content of the presentation or course will be adapted to your company's specific needs, typically ranging from a one-hour lecture perfectly suited to your corporate, division or team safety meeting, to a one-day (7-hour) staff or manager training course.


Off-The-Job Safety Leadership

Off-The-Job Safety Leadership presentations and courses are designed to facilitate manager/supervisor buy-in of the importance of off-the-job safety to both your business and your employees and to provide supervisors and managers with a tool kit for building a safety culture within your business and promoting off-the-job safety among their staff.

Booking Details

Dr. Kosanke's fees vary by length, format and location of the lecture or course. Please contact us for more informtion or to request a quote.

A 50% deposit is required at time of booking and the remaining 50% is due one month before the date of the presentation. 100% is due at time of booking for presentations taking place within 30 days of booking. For engagements outside of reasonable driving distance of Houston, Texas, the fee will include airfare and accommodation expenses that must be paid for in advance. Courses to be run at an international office location must be booked and paid for 3 months in advance.
Off-The-Job Safety Training
Your “off-the-job” presentation at our safety meeting was really well received. I was worried that people might feel we were intruding too much on their personal life, but you were able to position it so they understood why their company cares and why they should care. I had several people approach me (unsolicited) to tell me it was a meaningful topic to them, that they learned new information, and expect to change some aspect of their behavior in reaction to the talk. There’s of course no way to know what impact we’ve had in actually preventing an incident, but I can’t help but think that we’ve reduced the likelihood of a bad accident for anybody who attended, just by increasing their awareness.
